I didn't start in tech. I trained and qualified as a pharmacist first — an A-grade result, a real career, and then a slow pull toward computers that eventually became a full career change. That change is now 18+ years old, most of it self-taught: reading documentation late, breaking things on a machine nobody else depended on, and slowly turning "I don't actually know how this works" into services people now pay for. That's also the real reason this blog exists — not a portfolio piece, but notes worth organizing properly instead of leaving scattered. Every post here starts the same way: something breaks, something works better than the docs promised, or a tool changes enough that the old advice about it quietly stops being true — and it gets written down close to when it actually happened, not months later from memory. AI tools get tested against real daily work, not a five-minute demo. Windows and Linux notes come from machines actually being used day to day, not a fresh install staged for a screenshot. There's no editorial calendar forcing a post out on a schedule that doesn't fit the work — the FAQ below has the honest version of that.
